I have been coming here for more than 20 years and the staff and doctors are just great!! Recently, when Dr. Sneider retired I was transferred to Dr. Leslie Gordon who is superb! She has upgraded this office and the annual eye exam process with the latest technology making the examination process easier to tolerate. 2023 was my 2nd visit (no anxiety) with Dr. Gordon who explained what she was doing, gave me the why and with the newer technology, let me know the types of cataracts I have and was able to identify anything that might be on the horizon. Since I needed a bit stronger prescription, she worked with Bill during the exam process so that the process was seamless from beginning to end without unnecessary waiting. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon and Riverdale Eye Associates!!

My GP referred me to Dr. Landzberg because he has sent his own mother to have her cataract surgery done, and they were thrilled. Well, no more thrilled than I am! In every single aspect, Dr. Landzerg is outstanding. She is personalble, incredibly thorough, competent, and she minimized any anxiety I experienced before the surgery. The surgeries themselves (I had both eyes done two weeks apart) were done in a lovely facility in New Rochelle (Eye Surgery Center of Westchester). They were incerdibly professional, supportive, helpful, caring. Today Dr. Landzberg gave me a complete bill of health, and approved me to resume my full physical activity 100%. I'm beyond delighted. My eyesignt is vastly improved, and in fact, I have 20/20 distance vision, and don't even need glasses to drive. Now I am one very difficult person to please! I had cataract surgery on 10/25/21 (right eye) and 11/8/21 (left eye) with Dr. Gordon. Both procedures went extremely well; I was informed of every possible situation that might have arisen and was put at ease by Dr. Gordon. As it turned out, there were absolutely no issues and the procedures have transformed my eyesight to 20/20 in both eyes. For me, it's nothing short of miraculous since I've been wearing bifocals for over 30 years! Dr. Gordon's knowledge and reassuring manner gave me the confidence to have the surgeries. I recommend Dr. Gordon and Riverdale Eye Associates very highly.

Doctor Gordon, Please accept my sincerest apology for not sending this letter of Professional thanks and gratitude to you, and your team, for your excellent Clinical Ophthalmological Service in removing my natural opacified lenses, then replacing them with prostheses….the AcrySofIQPanOptix….sooner than this. I’d like to give a five star rating for both Dr. Landzberg and Cathy. I have very bad anxiety and squeamishness when it comes to anything getting close to my eyes. I was afraid that I wasn’t going to get through the exam as a result, but Dr. Landzberg was very understanding and gently persevered and even brought in Kathy for and additional source of support. I am grateful for all their extra effort and patience. I also appreciate the fact that when I call the office, I can easily reach a human being, it is a clean and sanitary office, and they have a nice selection of eyeglasses.
